An introduction

So then, you found your way here, to our Blog. Good!
Let's get right into it by answering a few questions you might have:
Who are you people, anyway?
Well, we're Captain Casual. We're a tulpamancy system of two, and a musician. Or composer. Or music producer? The terms kinda blur when you're an independent artist.
But yes, if your reaction to the word "tulpamancy" was a good old-fashioned "Wot?", then we'd like to refer you to this video we published on the topic. But while you're here, a quick summary:
We are two people sharing a body. Known as a "System" or "Plural".
There's the so-called "host", Michael, and Amalia, a tulpa, or thoughtform. Now in our case, this isn't the result of trauma or anything. A tulpa is a deliberately created, sentient being, and we're quite happy being like this.
Beyond music and being plural, we have relatively normal interests, really. We like books, long walks, the occasional bit of gaming when we find the time, a bit of fitness, yoga, meditation and whatnot.
By the way, at least at the time of writing this, we do work a full-time job to support ourselves. We do make money off our music, but it's currently an utterly insignificant amount that couldn't support us if we were a mouse with minimalist tendencies. 😜
But yeah, between our job, our music, and all our other interests, time is often in short supply, so that's a thing.
Okay, so you you're a weirdo. But why did you make this blog?
Partially because we want to round off our online presence a bit and perhaps convert some of our readers (you!) into listeners of our music, and vice versa.
But also because we wanted to have a cosy little corner of the internet where we can just jot down our thoughts and opinions, without the busy hustle and bustle that comes with the usual social media sites.
Basically, we want something where posts have a bit more weight than on Xwitter or Facebook, but where we can still post in text form, rather than putting hours into making a Youtube video each time we wanna say something. And we quite enjoy writing.
Thus, Blog is now happen.

Right. But what's this Blog going to be about? Your Music?
Often, yes! But generally speaking, we're intending to use this blog to write about aaaaanything we feel like.
Could be about a new song we're working on or releasing.
Could be about a video game we've been enjoying.
We might just feel inspired to go into some philosophical contemplations every now and then.
Or maybe we'll just tell you how things are going in general from time to time.
The point is, you should probably expect a bit of a variety show.
But wait, what kind of music do you make, anyway?
Heh, yeah, that's a good question. We uh..... don't know. :p
You see, our main goal when working on our songs is to always try new stuff. Through experimentation, we can learn a few new tricks as we go, and also make our music sound more original and distinct.
But that very same practice of trying new stuff all the time also means that picking a genre for ourselves is pretty much impossible.
Sometimes we make a song that fits into a genre somewhat decently, then sometimes our songs just utterly defy categorization.
That's just what we do. A hallmark of our music, if you will. 😉
