Status Report #18: 30th of November, 2025

Hmm. Things went quite wrong, here.

Morning guys and guyettes, it's Amalia here, bringing you another Status report!

So, let's hop into it and talk about our...

Active Projects!

Well, the big, obvious one is that we've released our new single, Filettatura di Scarto!

It went alright, all things considered. It's gotta be said, these last couple of releases, we didn't do any direct, paid marketing, and as a result we're pulling in very tiny numbers of listeners, but frankly, our thoughts regarding this can be summed up as "Eh, we're having fun."

And hey, the tune is actually featured in some playlists by Radio ArmazΓ©m, and Visual Atelier 8 wrote a piece on it!

So that's actually quite cool and encouraging.πŸ˜€

We already have an idea and inspiration for our next tune, too. Probably gonna take a week or two until we start getting to work on that in earnest, but it's good to have a plan.

Also, on this very blog, you shall, within a few days, see the beginning of a new project! A video-game related series, with lots of animals in it. You'll like it. We hope.πŸ˜‰

But for now, let's have some...

General ramblings!

Well folks, it's been a busy Black Friday season for us.

We're still quite into DCS, but it's gotta be said, in the past week, it felt like we spent more time making DCS-related purchases than actually doing anything in DCS.

and
and

....no seriously, we bought all 3. The good thing is that at this point, we own every module we're interested in, until that Tornado eventually comes out. Or the naval F-4, whichever comes first.

Michael's really stoked for the Apache, so we'll save getting into that one for Christmas, and myself, i really like the idea of the F-4, so that one's for my birthday on the 7th of January. The Mig, we'll wait until she's had more time to cook. Right now, she's brand new, with not much out there in the way of guides, training missions or general content for the plane.πŸ˜‰

.... but we also bought a couple of desk mounting clamps to make our setup more convenient! And this Thrustmaster MFD set! And also, genuinely, this friggin' monster!

Now, don't panic.

Because we ALSO bought a handful of very cool music production plugins that should help us make our music more betterer! Yey!😜

...... but seriously, it's fine. We actually got a rather generous (and early) Christmas bonus this year, and beyond these..... let's say "investments", we really haven't got anything else on our shopping list, allowing us to save most of our bonus. So overall, our finances are are looking rather healthy, actually.

..... well, we also ordered a couple Tom Clancy books we didn't have yet, and we're looking at some Battletech books as well, but yeah okay, after that, there's nothing more on the list! πŸ˜‰

Now, let's switch topics: How are things going in our Farming Sim playthrough, the one we started with the new expansion?

..... they aren't, we've stopped playing it already.

The main reason for this is Mechwarrior 5. We had a playthrough of that going for ages, sorta lost some steam with it and decided to just finish off the main campaign and call it a day with it.

But then, as we were slogging towards that, the Legend of the Kestrel Lancers DLC campaign reared it's head. And that, in combination with a couple of small QOL mods didn't just revitalize our interest in the game, but totally stoked some real passion for it!

We started reading our second Battletech book, and we're having an absolute blast with it, now. We might just end up playing all of the DLC in a single save file, right through the Clan invasion of Shadow of Kerensky.

Though yes, that newfound passion, along with our renewed interest (and investment) into DCS, and also the new upcoming project has left us with little time and/or motivation to keep playing Farming Sim, where they recently announced a second season pass along with releasing an obnoxiously impractical vehicle for a couple of bucks.

Maybe later down the line. For now, we have to wonder how we'll make any time for the upcoming Finest Hour expansion for Gates of Hell. Because that's coming out on tuesday, and GoH is arguably our favourite game overall.

Might just have to push it off until we've completely had our fill with Mechwarrior.πŸ˜›

But yeah, i think that'll be it from us, this week. Having a pretty good time, all things considered. Hope you are, too.πŸ˜‰

Anyhow, we'll see you real soon for that new project, and until then, stay safe and have a good one!
