Angry fish, 12 o' clock! Goooood morning folks! Michael here, with you for another one of our bi-weekly status reports! Been a pretty decent couple of weeks for us, so let's get started on... The music/blog stuff! And to begin with, the slump we were in during our last post is quite over! We've been chipping away at our next tune, adding to it in bits. Just yesterday, we recorded some more lyrics and played some tambourine. Though also, over the last few weeks, we've been sort of reorganizing things, establishing better routines in our day-to-day, and generally trying to get the most out of our time, and so we started doing something we've been neglecting for a good while. ~Practice!~ Yeees. See, over time, the time we spend on music drifted more and more towards actively composing, which meant that in turn, we took less and less time for practise, or just playing for fun. But now, with our new and improved routine and mindset, we're not only spending more tim...

'ello 'ello! Michael here! And we did the thing again! We played and finished an old game that i played as a child! ..... and this one's really quite old, too. When this game came out in 2001, i was 9 years old. And Amalia wasn't around at all, yet. So anyways, get your lockpicks and crowbars ready, because today, we're breaking and entering our way into the unknown and largely forgotten little game that is.... The Sting! Well, it's a 2001 stealth-puzzle game made by a small Austrian development studio called Neo Software. That is, before they were bought up, traded around a bit and eventually acquired by Take Two Interactive, becoming Rockstar Vienna in the process. Unfortunately, the Studio was shut down just a few years later, mostly having worked on ports and bits and pieces of Manhunt 2. Getting back to the game itself h...

Hiya folks! Amalia here for another Status Report! So, let's talk about what Michael and i have been up to, starting with our...   Musical stuff! .... okay, imma be honest, it's been a mixed bag, these couple of weeks. We did get some work done on our next project during the first week, and had a hilarious recording session doing..... *interesting* vocals, which we shan't spoil for you. 😜 Buuut during this second week, we hit a bit of a slump. Been sleeping a badly, not really feeling much drive to hop into our DAW and get stuff done. Should resolve itself soon enough. It happens, you know. In better news, we bought ourselves a fancy new pair of Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro X headphones for the Studio! Because we've been using AKG K-701's for most of our stuff, and while those are good, they're kinda specialized and lack in the bass department, which often meant that when we got to the mastering stage and tried listening to our new music on a variety of speakers, we...
