Status Report #18: 30th of November, 2025

Hmm. Things went quite wrong, here. Morning guys and guyettes, it's Amalia here, bringing you another Status report! So, let's hop into it and talk about our... Active Projects! Well, the big, obvious one is that we've released our new single, Filettatura di Scarto! It went alright, all things considered. It's gotta be said, these last couple of releases, we didn't do any direct, paid marketing, and as a result we're pulling in very tiny numbers of listeners, but frankly, our thoughts regarding this can be summed up as "Eh, we're having fun." And hey, the tune is actually featured in some playlists by Radio Armazém , and Visual Atelier 8  wrote a piece on it! So that's actually quite cool and encouraging.😀 We already have an idea and inspiration for our next tune, too. Probably gonna take a week or two until we start getting to work on that in earnest, but it's good to have a plan. Also, on this very blog, you shall, within a few days, ...

Facets of Tulpamancy - Michael's perspective

Just gonna sprinkle some of Amalia's pictures throughout. She likes making these.   Greetelings, Misters and Mistresses! Michael here. So, it's occurred to Amalia and me that despite having "Tulpa" in the name of the blog, and despite being largely open about being plural, we haven't actually wrote any dedicated blog posts about the topic. So we figured we might want to catch up on that a bit. We decided that each of us would write a post where we'd go through some of the various aspects of plural life. That way, you get a look at a range of topics, some of them from her perspective, some from mine. Before we get started with that, though, i suppose we might want to give a quick crash-course to those of you who might be reading this with no knowledge of what a Tulpa actually is (Or worse, the internet taught you that it's some kind of occult or supernatural creepypasta nonsense!). So, let's give you a little.... Part 1: -Crash course on tulpas and plur...

Production log #3: Filettatura di Scarto!

It's time, folks! Time for another song release! And this time, it's kind of a funny one, with Italian lyrics and zero synthesizers!  "But Captain!" we hear you asking. "Why is thing do that?" Well, you see, thing is do that because Filettatura di Scarto came about through a bit of unique inspiration. It all started one day at work. We're employed as an industrial fitter, working at a plant producing LPG fittings, burners, regulators and the like. So, one day, we got a shipment of ball valves from an italian parts  supplier, with threads in 'em. As in, the ones you screw stuff into. Which we attempted to do, but much to our chagrin, the threads were pretty badly cut, meaning we could barely fit anything into there. That then lead to us having to do a bunch of extra work, recutting those threads, making a mess of filings and generally taking a bunch of extra time for an otherwise simple work order. So, in jest, we said that we should call our next s...

Farmin' in scotland, innit. The goodest of mornings to you, folks! Amalia here, and it's time for another bi-weekly report. And it's been an interesting two weeks, so let's start with our... Active projects! Yep, not calling it "musical stuff" anymore, because we always lump in news about this blog. 😉 Anyway, it's good news for Filettatura di Scarto! Our Submithub campaign met with some actual success, and so far, two curators have approved it! ( Visual Atelier 8  and Radio Armazem ) And yeah, generally the tune is ready for release on Friday, the 21st of November. Do look forward to it, we figure this is probably our best work yet!  😉 Also, as for those blog news: Last time we mentioned that we were looking for an inspiration for something to write about, and we've found it! See, there's currently a Steam sale themed around animals, and we indeed got a few DLCs for a certain game during that sale. A game that's all about animals and creativi...

Greetings there, fellow jets! We too are a jet. May we join you? Hello hello there, friends and readers! It's already been a couple of weeks, and so it's time for another Status Report! It's Amalia here with you today, and i'll start by telling you all about our.... Musical stuff! And it's good news! Filetattura di Scarto is done! Here's the cover! Complete with the colours of the Italian flag! We're now in the marketing stage, prepare a few release materials in order to give it the best possible chance of getting more than 3 listeners. Basically, we'll put out some shorts to support the release. The release date is looking like the 21st of November, though it's not quite set in stone, yet. We'll also be taking this one to SubmitHub. We usually do really awfully on there, because well, it's both a very competitive place, and also a place where the curators are sort of bound to accept more genre-conforming music (You know, the opposite of wh...
